Golden Spirals

These are chains of golden rectangles linked by sublime triangles in which the length of each successive rectangle is equal to the width of the preceding one. The design mirrors that of the cottage, addition, and studio complex.

The lengths of the sides are proportional to sequential numbers in the Fibonacci series. The angles between the sides are the same as those in a pentagon (108 degrees) but the sides are of different lengths.

One can trace the outline of a chain of golden rectangles with Labradorite on Travertine.
